They produced a variety of sweets, and famously, in 1992, they founded The Natural Confectionery Co. as an umbrella brand for products with no artificial colors or flavors. In 2003, The Natural Confectionery Co. (and thus, Sunrise Confectioners) was acquired by Cadbury Schweppes, which later became part of Mondelēz International.
