Doscher's is a Cincinnati candy institution, boasts a sweet legacy dating back to 1871. Founded by immigrant brothers Claus, John, and Heinrich Doescher, the company is recognized as the oldest continuously operating candy company in the United States and the oldest producer of candy canes. Claus Doscher himself crafted their first handmade candy cane, utilizing real peppermint oil and copper kettles, a tradition largely maintained today.
