Brachs Confections

Popularly called Brach's Candy, the company is actually Brach's Confections, which boasts a rich history, beginning in 1904 when German immigrant Emil J. Brach opened his "Palace of Sweets" in Chicago. Starting with one kettle, he focused on quality and affordability, quickly expanding. Brach's revolutionized candy sales, notably with its "Pick-A-Mix" concept in 1958, allowing customers to scoop their own bulk favorites.

Over the decades, Brach's became a household name, especially known for its iconic seasonal candies like candy corn, jelly beans, and conversation hearts. While ownership has changed hands over the years, Brach's remains a beloved brand, synonymous with American candy traditions and making everyday moments sweeter.
