Storck Candy

August Storck KG, a prominent German confectionery company, was founded in 1903 by August Storck in Werther, Westphalia. What began as a small candy factory supplying local retailers steadily grew, even pioneering Germany's first branded candy, "1 Pfennig Riesen," in 1934. After World War II, Storck expanded significantly, moving to a larger facility in Halle (Westphalia). Under successive generations of the Oberwelland family, Storck introduced many iconic global brands, including nimm2 (1962), Merci (1965), Werther's Original (1969), and Toffifee (1973). Today, with production facilities in Germany and Denmark and distribution in over 100 countries, Storck remains a leading family-owned sweet manufacturer, synonymous with quality and beloved treats worldwide.
