August Storck KG, a prominent German confectionery company, was founded in 1903 by August Storck in Werther, Westphalia. What began as a small candy factory supplying local retailers steadily grew, even pioneering Germany's first branded candy, "1 Pfennig Riesen," in 1934. After World War II, Storck expanded significantly, moving to a larger facility in Halle (Westphalia).
