Melville Candy

Melville Candy’s sweet story is a three-generation family legacy that began with Great-Uncle George Flynn’s fudge shops in 1940s Boston. The company was officially revived in 1978 by Gary and Joe Melville, who utilized original family molds and recipes discovered in their attic. Starting as a home operation, Melville grew into a nationally recognized confectionery known for its handcrafted gourmet lollipops. Their signature innovation, the Honey Spoon—a hard candy spoon that dissolves in hot beverages—was conceived by Joe Melville in a college class. Today, this Massachusetts-based business continues the tradition of creating unique, hand-poured sweets in small batches.
