Arway Candy, now known as Arway Confections, opened its doors in Chicago in 1950, founded with a vision for producing higher quality confections than generally available at the time. Their very first product, Chocolate Pecan Caramel Patties, quickly caught the attention of Sears Roebuck & Co., then the largest retailer in the United States, becoming Arway's inaugural customer. This partnership was instrumental in setting industry quality standards that endure today. Over decades, Arway expanded from a single product to hundreds of items, specializing in bulk confections, including panned and enrobed chocolates, copper kettle cooked products, and roasted nuts. Now, as part of Long Grove Confectionery Company, Arway continues its tradition of quality and service.
