Zachary Confections traces its roots back to Chicago in 1950. Founded by J.J. and Helen Zachary, the company initially focused on seasonal chocolate novelties, like hollow bunnies for Easter. Over the decades, Zachary expanded its repertoire, moving to Frankfort, Indiana, in 1984 to accommodate growth. They diversified into chocolate-covered nuts and raisins, and later, in 2002, ventured into sugar confections, including their popular candy corn. Today, still family-owned by the third generation, Zachary Confections remains a significant player, known for its wide array of everyday and seasonal treats, emphasizing quality and value.
