Koppers Chocolate makes gourmet panned chocolates, boasts a storied history dating back to 1937 in the heart of New York City's Greenwich Village. Founded by Fred "Pappi" Stern and his partner David Kopper, the company's ambition was to blend Old World confectionery artistry with New World innovation. Koppers was a pioneer, notably creating the first chocolate lentils and mint lentils in the U.S., predating M&M's, and even introduced chocolate-covered espresso beans and gummy bears.
