Kervan Gıda, which established its soft candy brand Bebeto in 1998, has grown to become Turkey's number one producer and exporter of gummies, licorice, and marshmallows. The company, founded in 1994, began with chewing gum production before establishing its first gummy line in 1998. Kervan expanded its global reach in 2011 by bringing bulk candy operations to the United States. Notably, Kervan was the first confectionery company to receive a Halal Certificate accredited by the Turkish Government in 2015, ensuring its inclusive range is enjoyed in over 90 countries worldwide.
