A pioneer in American confectionery, Boston Fruit Slices began its journey in the 1940s as part of the H.W. Powers Candy company, which was the first to introduce fruit slices in the United States. In 1984, an employee purchased the product line, establishing the "Boston Fruit Slices" brand. For decades, the company maintained its tradition of handmade, small-batch production in Massachusetts. Although the company relocated its operations to North Carolina in 2016, it proudly continues to use the same time-honored recipes and traditional methods, ensuring that each slice retains the classic taste and quality that has been cherished for over 80 years.
