Adams & Brooks, a confectionary company with a rich history, was founded in 1932 by Paul Adams and Emmert Brooks during the Great Depression. They initially focused on selling caramel corn from a storefront in Los Angeles, even supplying it to movie theater lines. Their entrepreneurial spirit led them to expand into other confections, notably introducing their "Butter Toffee Nuts" at the 1940 Los Angeles County Fair, later trademarked as the popular P-Nuttles in the late 1950s. Today, Adams & Brooks continues its legacy of distinctive candies, including the well-known Coffee Rio coffee-flavored caramels and a vast array of colorful lollipops like their iconic Twirl Pops.
