Shipping Policy

IMPORTANT WEATHER TIP:

Check the weather in your area for the next several days.  Will the weather be hot?  If so, we recommend you add an ice pack to help protect your candy.  Are you ordering several chocolate products?  Why not order several ice packs to better protect your treats? We are unable to cover melted candy so we recommend you consider adding ice packs when the weather is hot. Even with ice packs we cannot cover melted candy but they will increase your protection.  Please have someone available at your delivery location (or deliver to an office) so your package does not sit outside.

We ship anywhere in the United States and U.S. Territories (including Pureto Rico and Virgin Islands).  Of course, we also ship to APO / FPO addresses. We also ship to Canada!  If shipping to Canada please be aware that we are not responsible for tariffs or fees that may be charged to you by customs. We ship Monday – Friday.  

We need approximately 48 business hours (Candy Nation is closed on weekends) to pack and ship your order (there will be exceptions when we cannot ship within this time). We strive to ship quickly because we know this will make you super happy.  Also, as you can see on our web site we carry a ton of different products. We try to keep a strategic inventory so that our candy remains fresh. Sometimes an item may not be in stock. If this happens we will contact you quickly and then recommend several competitors. We want to make you happy.

We cannot guarantee delivery dates but you may specifically let us know in writing that you need candy by a certain date.  We recommend that you leave plenty of time to prepare for your event in case there is a problem with your order due to delivery company or a mistake in packing on our end.  We are unable to ship 1 day express mail to fix a problem so leave yourself plenty of time to prepare...we want you to enjoy your event rather than worrying so time is your friend.  We are sometimes able to ship right away in emergencies and will do our very best to help - last minute orders are fine.  Let us know and we will work with you to get your candy in time for your special event!

Don't forget that we cannot refund you for melted candy so be careful on what candy you choose and the method of delivery.  Be more careful when shipping chocolate, gummy candy, or taffy. You may add an ice pack for $1.25 to your order. For small orders we reserve the right to limit the number of ice packs and will then refund you for the ice packs taken off your order. Ice packs will only last a few days so if you are shipping to the West coast we may (or not) change your order to priority mail or UPS 2 day and let you know the difference in shipping price. We are based out of Philadelphia, PA and can easily serve East coast states but be careful if you are on the West coast! During hot weather, please choose express shipping if you live in far out states such as California.

Candy Nation, Inc. does not guarantee the amount of a particular color, flavor, or shape in"assortments" of candy.  The amount of each is decided at random.  Candy is heavy stuff and shipping prices will reflect this fact. Candy Nation and our competitors are all the same when it comes to dealing with the fact that candy is heavy. Internet merchants of stuffed animals have it a lot easier. Their products are light and shipping costs are much better. Although, keep in mind that gummy bears taste a lot better than teddy bears!
 

Address Corrections:

UPS charges $11.00 per package for address corrections.  Customers who enter incorrect address(es) for their order will be charged for all address correction fees if Candy Nation, Inc. is charged by UPS.  Please be careful and double check that your address is valid with UPS and the postal service.  Invalid addresses given by a customer and sent via USPS Priority Mail are charged to reimburse Candy Nation, Inc. for actual postal costs to mail.  When shipping via USPS, we cannot ship again if the address on the original order is invalid or the original label is marked undeliverable or unclaimed.  

Lost / Damaged / Stolen Candy: 

Candy Nation cannot be held responsible for candy that is stolen, damaged, or lost since the candy leaves our warehouse without control by our company.  The candy is now in the delivery service's hands and all claims must be filed by you (we will help) with the delivery service when the package is marked delivered by delivery service. Candy Nation will not honor any claims for items marked delivered by delivery company.  Candy Nation will assist you with claims for packages which are lost by delivery company but cannot be held responsible for delivery which is not controlled by Candy Nation. During delivery most likely some of your candy will break during shipping - this is just the nature of shipping and cannot be controlled by us.  We are not responsible for broken candy. When you open candy that was correctly sent we cannot refund due to the product being exposed.  Candy Nation will not be able to refund you for candy where you provided us an incorrect mailing address or where the package is returned to us marked address unknown or package unclaimed.  Please be sure to send candy where you know you will be able to accept delivery (at your office or home where a household member will be able to accept). Leaving candy on your doorstep without you at home is not a good idea.  
 

International Shipping:


We are unable to ship outside the United States and Canada.

Information Accuracy:

We try our best to maintain accurate information, images (colors not always exact and depends on your computer monitor, mobile device, etc), product pricing (which often change depending on manufacturer price changes), shipping costs (which include applicable handling charges), and descriptions (often will be updated and revised) on our web site.  We cannot guarantee the accuracy or correctness of information but will do our best. Sometimes small errors may occur and we may need to cancel your order and will notify you via e-mail or via phone.  Any miscommunication between Candy Nation and you will not result in one day or faster delivery to remedy miscommunication.  We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason.
