Everlasting Gobstoppers are a true candy phenomenon. Layer by layer, you’ll see the colors change before your eyes. Whether you’re looking for...
traditional gobstoppers or chewy ones, we have all your Willy Wonka favorites.
Gobstoppers were invented in 1971 after the release of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory story. In the film, factory-owner Willy Wonka announced that these were some of his favorite treats. While these candies were traditionally known as jawbreakers, gobstoppers become the new nickname. A few years later, Breaker Confections released these colorful treats and now they’re a popular candy treat for the whole family. And the rest was history!
Gobstoppers come in a variety of flavor combinations but usually have a cherry-flavored center. The original Gobstopper is a variety of flavors including orange, cherry, lemon, watermelon, and grape. But don’t be fooled! As you eat them, each layer dissolves to reveal a different color and flavor combination.
