One of my favorite activities at the beach used to be to build a large sand castle near the water and race against time.  Little by little the ocean would creep towards my castle so I took all the necessary precautions like building a high wall and an intricate network of moats.  Unfortunately the ocean always won.  How depressing.  To lighten my mood I should have brought some beach candy!
