The 8.5 oz Jelly Belly gift box could be consumed by yourself if you want a sampling of their jelly bean flavors.  Pf course, you could buy the box to send to a friend or family member as a gift.  The problem with sending these wonderful beans as a gift would not being able to enjoy them yourself. The moral of the story is you should do what's right and give them as a gift.  It's better to give than recieve right?
